VIKING lawn tractor wins iF product design award 2008
The VIKING T5 Series lawn tractor (model MT 5097) was presented the iF product design award 2008. The international panel of judges praised the excellent design quality and functionality of the VIKING T5.
The iF criteria for excellence in styling and quality design are stringent. The judges also assess whether the promises made by the company with regard to their product and brand are actually met. A total of 2,771 products from 35 countries were submitted for the iF product design award 2008, some 20 per cent more than in the previous year. This underscores the fine reputation of this design competition. The award - the iF label - is valid for the entire life-cycle of the products.
All the winning products are presented at the iF exhibition 2008. The exhibition was officially opened on 4 March 2008, and runs until August 2008. Moreover, the iF yearbook product 2008 has been published, featuring not only a compendium of all the award winners, but also the assessments and impressions of the panel of judges.
