Fast decomposition: with shredded material
Shredded material decomposes much more quickly. Plant trimmings are torn up, and the surface area is increased and can be more easily attacked by micro-organisms. A VIKING garden shredder makes easy work of shredding coarse, bulky, soft, and fibrous material. Passing shredded material through repeatedly provides for optimal mixing. There is also no need to turn the compost over later for improved oxygenation.

Chopping without a racket: Silent shredder
The crushing roller on the GE 35 L electric shredder processes tree or hedge cuttings quietly but powerfully. This produces material that is broken up and which is ideal for composting or mulching.
Nice and strong: Electric shredders with chopping units
Extremely finely shredded material is supplied by the GE 105 electric shredders, which chip branches and shred soft material such as leaves or plant trimmings. The VIKING GE 150, with its powerful motor, processes thicker branches into chippings for composting.
Through thick and thin: Classic garden shredders
These shredders consume large quantities of flower cuttings, vegetables, leaves, bushy twigs and branches of average thickness.
The shredded material is of coarse structure and fibrous.
Combination shredders with electric motors or petrol engines
The combination shredders for selectively chipping and shredding are genuine omnivores. Depending upon the set rotational direction, they finely shred soft plant trimmings or cut hard branches. The robust shredders with petrol engines are ideal for mobile applications.
