International design award for the new VIKING lawn tractors |

VIKING, the garden appliance manufacturing company from Langkampfen/ Kufstein, has recently celebrated winning not one but two renowned, international design awards.
Some time ago, VIKING engineers and designers set themselves an ambitious target - to build a lawn tractor with a totally new design and which also meets the customer's needs and requirements in the best possible way. The results are the T5 and T6 lawn tractor series with clever details with respect to ergonomics, functionality, user-friendliness and attractive design. These features ensured that the T5 Series lawn tractors were presented with the "iF product design award 2008". The well-respected, international jury praised the excellent design quality and the functionality. The MT 6127 ZL lawn tractor from the T6 Series was able to bring home the "red dot design award 2008". The decisive factors in this case were, first and foremost, the innovative design solutions and the durability coupled with ecologically-friendly considerations. The awards for the two new lawn tractor series, T5 and T6, which have recently been launched onto the market, are yet another endorsement of VIKING's successful premium brand strategy. |
