Social commitment
VIKING assumes responsibility
As a company, we have a close relationship to society and fulfil this role in numerous ways, for example by employing and integrating disabled employees, by providing jobs for young people, and by creating interesting traineeships. We also make a valuable contributions as a partner to social organisations, for example the SOS Children's Villages. VIKING helps to provide children and young people from difficult family backgrounds with a new home and to give them a good start in life. Further activities include supporting schools, kindergartens and training centres in the Tyrol region, as well as a number of sports clubs. And last but not least, we are also committed to sporting causes: VIKING sponsors a number of clubs in a variety of sports.

Jointly with STIHL Austria, we are very pleased to support the aim of SOS Children's Villages to provide them with the best possible assistance. For example, we provide gardening power tools all over Austria, with which the gardens of these institutions can be tended. Fun for the little ones is of course also a main priority. Some Children's Villages in Austria have already been gifted "tools for little gardeners": Children's tractors, children's lawn mowers and mini wheel barrows from the Kid series were accepted with glee and subjected to practical testing.
