For the quarter-final stage of the World Cup, gardening power tool manufacturer VIKING from Langkampfen in Austria is launching the oracle season. As the robotic lawn mowers known as iMows at VIKING manoeuvre themselves across the grass according to the random principle, they are ideal candidates for predicting the knock-out matches in Brazil.
At 7 p.m. on 3 July, VIKING will start its oracle campaign, which will be played on Facebook and YouTube, and in which the prize is an iMow. A short preview of the action can already be seen today at www.viking-garden.com or facebook.viking-garden.com. Here, on a 6 x 4 metre football pitch, a VIKING iMow MI 632 makes its predictions. Just like a live sports commentary, a mowing reporter comments on the lively action on the field.
VIKING GmbH produces and sells lawn mowers, robotic mowers, ride-on mowers, scarifiers, garden shredders and tillers. VIKING is a member of the STIHL Group and achieved a turnover of € 153.9 million with 329 employees in 2013. Sales partners for VIKING gardening power tools are service-providing specialist dealers.
